True digital four-color offset printing is made possible by a new press from Heidelberg -
and The Merrick Printing Company in Louisville, Kentucky has one of the first 35 of these
presses available in the United States. Digital offset printing opens the door to
higher-quality, consistent printing not always possible with color toner printers - but at
prices much more affordable than traditional commercial offset for shorter-run jobs.
