The mission of the Pre-Flight Department is to analyze new jobs which are submitted in digital form. The jobs are loaded onto the server and tested to make sure that all components of the job, such as artwork and fonts, are present. This analysis and preparation of files expedites the production process, enabling your files to move through production quickly and accurately. Capabilities Pre-Flight Operators - Our Pre-Flight department is staffed by experienced desktop professionals who examine and test your files for digital imaging. Archive System - At your request, your electronic files can be archived to optical disk. Large collections of digital images can be organized into Cumulus libraries for easy retrieval in the future. FTP - For speed and convenience, we can receive electronic files via Internet e-mail or FTP (Internet "File Transfer Protocol"). Mac and PC Platforms - We pre-flight and image jobs on their native platforms, eliminating the need for file conversions to a particular platform. We prefer to receive the master document files of your jobs so that we can color trap and place high resolution images for the best possible quality in the final product. |
